True Goji Berries Research

FreeLife's
Goji Berries Research:
|
| The challenge for FreeLife was to harvest the
one true goji, and avoid poor quality berries. |
| |
| FreeLife were pioneers in researching the goji berries
benefits. This research has uncovered a group of four active
polysaccharides unique to the Himalayan quality goji berries
that are responsible for much of the berry's wide-ranging health
benefits. These phytonutrient compounds, known as biologically
active polysaccharides, are of great importance to the smooth
functioning of virtually every cell in the entire body.
Research strongly suggested that goji's
polysaccharides work in the body by serving as directors and
carriers of the instructions that cells use to communicate with
each other. In this way, it can be said that these
polysaccharides are "Master Molecules" by virtue of their
ability to command and control many of the body's most important
biochemical defense systems. |

|
FreeLife and their goji research team had a
daunting task ahead of them. Which was best? Which was the TRUE
goji of legend? FreeLife knew that they must exhaustively
analyze the dozens of varieties to find the one true goji - the
one that had been discovered by the early Himalayan healers, and
which, from ancient times, had been praised in legend..
To do this, they used a spectrometer-an
analytical device that is designed to measure how substances
either absorb or reflect electromagnetic energy at the molecular
level. By using this device and a highly sophisticated
mathematical formula,
they were able to determine a fingerprint of the
goji that originated in the Himalayas - its Spectral Signature.
|
| |
| In the same way that human fingerprints can be
used to distinguish one person from all others on the planet, a
spectrometer can detect even subtle differences between berries
at the molecular level. This technique results in the generation
of a graph, a unique fingerprint for whatever is being tested-a
Spectral Signature. |
| |
| By use of the Spectral Signature technique,
FreeLife and their research team were able to identify those
plants that retained the purity and goodness that existed in the
first plants that grew in their original home, the pristine and
beautiful Himalayas. Only those goji plants could
truly be called direct descendants of the original goji from the
Himalayas. |
